Ausidore is one of only a few Licensed Livestock Exporters in Australia. We specialise in the sourcing, preparation and export of high quality breeding livestock to customers all over the world.
Livestock are more than just a business and a livelihood. They play an important part in culture, food security and the families and communities that passionately produce, care for, and rely on them.
We are proud to play a small role in bringing these animals, people and relationships together to share value and knowledge both up, and down, the supply chain.

A brief history of our name “Ausidore”
When deciding on a name for our business, we wanted something that was simple and reflected who we are, what we do and aligned with our values and heritage.
The name “Ausidore“ is derived from the patron saint of farmers – Isidore the Farmer. Isidore was a farmer and labourer who cared deeply about the proper treatment of animals, and was generous to those around him even when he had little to give.
We don’t claim to be saints, but St. Isidore’s values align closely with ours, and guide us in the way we care for our livestock and interact with our customers, suppliers and the broader community each and every day.
Origin Story
Jim has over 20 years experience in a range of livestock production, processing, export and finance businesses throughout Australia. He lives with and his family in Geelong, Victoria, but travels to source, prepare, and supply livestock from all parts of Australia.
Jim is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds a Bachelor of Business in Agricultural Management from Marcus Oldham College.
Jim is the Chair of the South Eastern Australian Livestock Exporters Association(SEALEA), a Director of the Australian Livestock Exporters Council(ALEC), and a Meat and Livestock Australia Red Meat Ambassador.
